Scolmore adds Matt Black Wiring Accessories

With a reputation for listening to its customers and keeping up to date with the very latest trends for interior decorating, Scolmore has introduced a brand new finish to its popular Definity Screwless Wiring Accessory range.

A Matt Black finish has been added to the existing range, which brings the number of decorative cover plates available to a total of six, which also includes Stainless Steel, Brushed Steel, Polished Chrome, Red and White.

Definity is renowned for its smooth clean lines and offers an abundance of features including the flexibility that comes with modular switching. Each Definity product comprises an insert and a decorative cover plate. The screwless, push-fit face plates are supplied independently of the electrical inserts which means that the initial installation of the product can be carried out, and any subsequent maintenance or decoration completed before the final selection and fixing of the face plate.

For the installer this means a greater degree of flexibility in the timing of the installation of the insert and the distributor need not carry excessive levels of costly finished product. Should there be a subsequent interior design change or redecoration requiring a different colour accessory, then replacement plates can be sourced individually and fitted without the need for any special tools or electrical skills.
