Lighting up multi-million pound hotel complex

Scolmore Group’s Deco wiring accessories and energy-efficient Inceptor Micro downlights have been installed throughout the bedrooms and corridors of the multi-million pound, 160-room Hampton by Hilton hotel complex which has recently opened in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Built opposite Newcastle Centre Station, which has itself undergone a significant makeover, the eight-storey hotel complex boasts impressive views over the city from its guest bedrooms, and facilities include a bar and lounge, a gym and a work area for business travellers - all open 24 hours a day.

Approximately 1600 of Scolmore’s innovative Inceptor Micro LED Downlights are providing an energy efficient lighting solution at the new complex.   

Inceptor Micro is a fire-rated, integrated LED downlight with a high-powered, compact, pre-wired driver and flow connector. The compact size of the driver means they can be fitted into a very shallow recess depth of just 50mm – making them some of the most flexible fittings currently available.  They come with a choice of Fixed and Adjustable Bezels

Deco is a comprehensive collection of decorative metal wiring accessories in assorted plate finishes.  The range is renowned for its high specification, high quality, long life and unprecedented value for money.

The hotel is the first Hampton by Hilton property in Newcastle and joins more than 30 Hampton by Hilton trading or under development hotels in the United Kingdom.
