OEM ProductsIn addition to our own branded ranges of electrical products we do offer a bespoke product service to a number of our OEM customers. Such products include urea mouldings, inserts for accessory products, pressed steel components, machined brass parts and many more. We are justifiably proud of our reputation as a BSI Kitemark licensed manufacturer of a quality range of electrical products. Although we now produce 1,000s of different stock lines we are ever mindful of our core business as a manufacturer of UK plugtops. Legislative and market changes in the UK encouraged us to extend the range of plugs to include moulded cord sets and alternative plug designs more suited to the needs of the appliance manufacturer than the traditional replacement aftermarket. Development of a range of BS1362 plugtop fuses was a natural extension. As vast quantities of our plug sales have traditionally been made into the decorative lighting market, the development of a quality range of brass and moulded lampholders for that same market was a similarly natural addition. The techniques and materials used in our production of finished accessory and lighting products allow us to utilise these skills and experience in producing bespoke components for other manufacturers at very competitive prices. |
